Serving Veterans Through Fresh Fire International Ministries

Through the ministry of Fresh Fire International Ministries, 501(c)(3), Dr. Sheila R. Smith, PhD and her dedicated team have been serving veteran populations exclusively, extending compassion, dignity, and practical support to those who courageously served our nation.

For more than fifteen years, the ministry has remained committed to standing in the gap for veterans facing homelessness, food insecurity, and financial hardship. Our focus is clear: to ensure that veterans are not forgotten once they return home.

What We Do Now to Support Veterans

At present, Fresh Fire International Ministries actively supports veterans by meeting their immediate survival needs, including:

  • Providing hot meals and food assistance
  • Distributing clothing, shoes, and essential supplies
  • Offering compassionate outreach and encouragement
  • Connecting veterans to available community resources

These efforts are often the first point of contact for veterans who have lost trust in traditional systems. We meet them where they are—with respect, consistency, and care.
